One of the essential elements in faith development is the shift that occurs from self-focus to a more outward focus, as Jesus asks us to care for those in need.

At Silver Creek United Methodist Church, we strive to achieve that focus through both local and global mission outreach efforts. Locally, SCUMC participates in Azle’s Good Neighbor program, which allows us to help families in need of minor home repair. In addition, the church responds as it is called to assist with local emergencies. The Food Pantry is a large part of our local mission effort.
